Federal govt failed to fulfill responsibilities on NAP: Sindh CM

Apex committee has approved to form special force for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Monday has expressed resentment over government’s responsibilities on National Action Plan (NAP).

According to details, a session of apex committee chaired by Sindh CM approved hearing of another nine cases in military courts.

The House also accepted suggestion to form special force for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) comprising one thousand retired army officials.

On the occasion, Secretary Home Minister has briefed the participants that at least 16 terrorists have been hanged till death under military courts whereas 19 cases are still pending.

The issue of Karachi operation has also been taken under consideration.

Core Commander Lieutenant General Shahid Baig and DG Rangers Major General Mohammad Saeed have also attended the meeting for the first time since their appointments. 

Talking to media, Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Moula Bakhsh Chandio said that Murad Ali Shah has directed all the departments to take immediate measures to combat street crimes in Karachi.

He said that federation is in peace now after former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif‘s tenure.
