Govt reserves authority, it should take steps for development: Waseem
The mayor addressed a gathering over a flower-exhibition in Central District
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Mayor of Karachi, Waseem Akhtar has said on Sunday that steps for development should be taken by the Government of Sindh as it reserves the authority.
The mayor addressed a gathering regarding an exhibition of flowers in Central District.
Akhtar expressed a reservation over uprooting trees in the city and demanded the government to plant more trees.
Earlier in December, Mayor Waseem Akhtar launched a cleanliness campaign named ‘Hamara Karachi Program’ in the metropolis.
The campaign was launched in Shah Faisal Colony.
