Lahore: Cylinder blast death toll rises to 3 people

Explosion due to cylinder occurred in Mustafa Town in Lahore yesterday which claimed three lives

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A cylinder exploded in Mustafa Town, Lahore on Tuesday afternoon in a shop. It was a restaurant in which two more injured people lost their lives today, reported Dunya News.

The cylinder blast has resulted in three deaths, according to police sources. The victims include Muhammad Saleem, Mohammad Zaman and Mazhar Abbas.

The bodies of these victims will be handed over to respective families after necessary procedure of law.

Meanwhile, the police have registered an FIR against the restaurant owners for having inadequate protective measures for such an accident. The case was filed under Civil Defence Instructor Waqar Ahmed.

Police said that the administration of restaurant had insufficient facilities for protection. The pre-accidental measures were not there which is why the tragic incident happened and people lost their lives.

Investigation is being carried out under different aspects while no one has yet been arrested.
