PTI's Andaleeb Abbas wrote a letter to NAB chairman, demanding answers of six questions from him

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Andaleeb Abbas has on Tuesday written a letter to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman asking six questions from him, reported Dunya News.

Abbas maintained that a citizen and tax-payer of Pakistan, she needed details on six questions that she had asked in her letter. The letter raised six questions on NAB’s performance.

Here are Andaleeb Abbas’ six questions:

1 – How can NAB plea bargain?

2 – Why did NAB settle for Rs 2 billion in plea bargain with Mushtaq Raisani when his corruption was worth Rs 40 billion?3 – How much money has NAB so far recovered from 1584 government employees so far through plea bargain?

4 – Does NAB have any explanation for such poor performance?

5 – Supreme Court had taken suo moto action on illegal and political appointments in NAB in October 2016. What action has NAB taken so far on that issue?

6 – Why hasn’t NAB taken any action on 150 mega corruption cases as yet?

Andaleeb Abbas demanded in the letter than the answers to all the questions should be written to her within next 14 days because it was her right to know all these details according to Article 19 of the constitution and Right to Information Act.
