PK-307 landed at Jinnah International Airport at 12:10pm

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi-bound PK-307 flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) had to land in Muscat on Friday as runway operations were suspended at Jinnah International Airport owing to dense fog.

Reportedly, the flight that took off from Lahore earlier today was to land at Jinnah International Airport but the pilot decided otherwise due to the fog. The flight was diverted to Muscat as according to the pilot it was the nearest large enough facility to refuel the jet.

According to a passenger named Daniel Arthur, the aircraft landed in Muscat at around 08:30am and after refueling took off for Karachi at 10:45am.

PK-307 landed at Jinnah International Airport at 12:10pm, the passenger shared in a post on social media website.

Arthur stated that the flight circled Karachi runway at least eight times after reaching the metropolis at around 07:00am.

Reportedly, the flight was to depart for Karachi from Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday night at 10:00pm but PIA authorities had informed the passengers of possible delay until wee hours of early Friday.
