Rs5 crore grant issued for treatment of brutally tortured Larkana student
The victim will be sent to United States for proper health treatment.
LARKANA (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday has issued grant of Rs5 crore for the treatment of Larkana Cadet College student Ahmed Hussain who was subjected to torture by institute’s faculty.
According to details, the victim will be sent to United States for treatment whereas the district government would bear all the cost including his travelling.
Earlier, the inquiry team formed by CM Sindh inspected victim Ahmed Hussain’s medical reports and assured his father Mohammad Rashid of justice.
Ahmed’s father had told the team that his child lost senses after brutally thrashed by college teachers.
"My son was not sick as his complete medical checkup was held at the time of admission in Cadet College", he added.
He also thanked CM Sindh for assuring every kind of medical treatment for Ahmed.
