Wife of Gujranwala DHQ Hospital's MS assaulted over 'negligence'
According to the family, the newborn died in a hospital in Lahore
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Family assaulted a lady doctor on Monday in a private hospital after alleged negligence claimed life of a newborn.
Reportedly, a newborn died in a private maternity home around two days ago prompting the affected family to storm the facility today and torture the lady doctor.
According to the details, resident of Gakhar was getting her checkup done for nine months by Dr Rubina Anwar, wife of Medical Superintendent (MS) of District Headquarters Hospital, who runs a private hospital on GT Road.
The victimized mother said that her case was reported by Rubina as normal all through the time period however, over ‘mishandling’ during operation, the family was advised to take the patient to a hospital in Lahore with better facilities.
According to the family, the newborn died in a hospital in Lahore.
