Director Health Services shows concerns over mysterious disease spread in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The mysterious disease spread in Malir is yet to be identified medically. Director Health Services Doctor Abdul Waheed Panhwar said on Sunday that it is important to identify a disease before curing it, reported Dunya News.

He further claimed that Dengue victims have largely been cured. According to him, the unidentified disease is not Dengue, however, it is likely that the disease is transferable from person to person.

While talking to Dunya News, Panhwar advised residents to stay away from mosquitoes as much as they can.

Meanwhile, Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the shortage of medicines in Malir Saudabad Hospital. An order of inquiry was also given.

Sindh CM directed the Health Minister of Sindh Sikandar Ali Mandhro to make sure the necessary arrangements in the hospitals. Moreover, Murad Ali Shah has sought a report about the mysterious disease spread in Karachi.
