Sindh apex committee approves forming security force for CPEC

The committee has approved today establishment of ten ATCs as well

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Apex committee of Sindh has approved formation of a force for security of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and establishment of anti-terrorism courts (ATC).

Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah chaired meeting of the apex committee which was attended by Corps Commander of Karachi, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar, Rangers Director General (DG) of Sindh, Major General Bilal Akbar and Sindh Inspector General (IG) among others.

Sindh CM gifted both the Corps Commander and Sindh DG of Pakistan Rangers traditional Sindhi cap and shawl once the meeting concluded.

Moula Bakhsh Chandio, Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information said that performance of the apex committee would not undergo any downfall over transfers of Major General Bilal Akbar and Lt General Naveed Mukhtar.

The committee has approved today establishment of ten ATCs, registration of seminaries and appointment of prosecutors.
