Navy's special force TF-88 set up for Gwadar port security, force includes, ships, jets, drones

GWADAR: (Dunya News) – Pakistan navy’s special force TF-88 has been set up for Gwadar port’s security. The force is armed with ships, jets and drones, reported Dunya News.

A special ceremony was held in Gwadar was attended by the chiefs of all three forces and Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman. This special force has been named TF-88 and it will prove extremely effective for the security of Gwadar port. It will safeguard the port from traditional and non-traditional threats.

The special force will be deployed at the port, in the sea and around Gwadar. It is equipped with ships, speedy missile boots, jets for aerial surveillance and drones.

It is pertinent to mention here that the land route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has already been made secure with the help of special security division.
