CPEC would change the fate of people in Balochistan as well as the country, says Zehri
GWADAR (Dunya News) – The historic Gwadar port gets formally operational as the first cargo shipment under China Pakistan Corridor (CPEC) project set off for its destiny on Sunday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif formally inaugurated the first mega pilot trade cargo at Gwadar Port as the ceremony was also attended by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, National Security Advisor Nasser Khan Janjua, and other officials.
Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri also addressed the inauguration ceremony and declared that the project would change the fate of people in Balochistan as well as the country. Sanaullah Zehri also appreciated the developmental vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He declared that Gwadar Port is the base of CPEC as it will bring prosperity to the region.
