Asad Umar alleged premier and his family of neither declaring true assets nor paying taxes

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Different leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) asserted on Friday that evidence over Panama Leaks consists of at least 327 pages and alleged that the premier and his family set up around seven companies abroad before 2005.

Secretary General of PTI, Jahangir Tareen, Member of National Assembly (MNA), Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Vice-Chairman among others held a press conference in the federal capital today and accused leaders of the ruling political organisation to be misleading the nation.

Tareen said that from 2001 to 2005, at least seven offshore companies were set up which were led by Hassan Nawaz, son of the premier, Nawaz Sharif. The seven shell companies were used to buy some eight properties abroad, evidence of which would be presented before Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday, he said.

Asad Umar alleged premier and his family of neither declaring true assets nor paying taxes.

Qureshi criticised the committee formed to probe the news published in an English newspaper on October 6 that according to the government compromised the national security.

He demanded the government to have the probe headed by in-service judge of the SC. Representatives of the party further vowed to concede to the verdict of the SC in Panama Leaks case.
