General John Nicholson, Richard Olson met General Raheel Sharif to discuss matters of importance
RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Thursday met United States special envoy Richard Olson and the commander of the allied forces in Afghanistan General John Nicholson at General Headquarters, reported Dunya News.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, John Nicholson and Olson discussed the security situation in the region, matters of joint interest and Pak-Afghan border management during the meeting.
The US delegation appreciated the determination and efforts of Pakistan army for weeding out terrorism and bringing peace to the region.
