Progress has been made in probe of Quetta incident: Nisar
He said that he is monitoring the case on daily basis.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that progress has been made in the interrogation of Quetta incident.
While speaking to the National Assembly, he revealed that a number of proofs have been gathered related to Quetta incident but it would be too early to share them.
He explained that the fingers found from the blast site were of the suicide bomber but the DNA test cannot be carried out as the attacker’s head has been mutilated.
He said that he is monitoring the case on daily basis however; he will not make any announcement regarding the details before reaching to any conclusion.
The interior minister also said that spy case against apprehended US national Matthew Craig Barrett was not registered in 2011.
He revealed that Matthew was issued visa in 24 hours without focusing on significant points.
He hoped that foreign ministry will also take notice of the issue as done by the interior ministry.
