Sun Weidong condemned Quetta blast, condoled over loss of precious lives

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister of the Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan met with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong on Monday and had discussion over bilateral ties between the two countries and the progress made over the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, reported Dunya News.

Sun Weidong condemned the blast in Quetta and condoled over the loss of the precious lives. Chinese ambassador stated that the Chinese government stood beside the people of Pakistan in the battle against terrorism, further adding that China lauded Pakistan’s efforts in establishing peace.

Chaudhry Nisar stated that the strategic ties between China and Pakistan guaranteed peace and stability in the region and was a source of worry for the opposing forces. Interior minister said that no force can become an obstacle in the friendly ties between both countries.

Nisar said that providing security to Chinese engineers and workers was the top priority of the government.
