PPP Chairman has decided to send legal notice to Ch Nisar over allegations he leveled against PPP

OSLO (Web Desk) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated on Monday that the leaders of the country should not think that the party shall forget about the corruption revealed through the Panama Leaks.

While addressing the party leaders in Norway’s capital, Bilawal stated that there was immense ruckus over the Panama Papers but the leaders were not responding over it. PPP Chairman has also decided to send a legal notice to Minister of the Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan over the allegations he leveled on PPP.

Ch Nisar had claimed that the plane tickets of model Ayyan Ali and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were purchased from the same account.

“One responsible person came to me and offered reconciliation with PPP if Ayyan Ali is released and Dr Asim Hussain is bailed out, which is not possible for me as a honest person,” Nisar recalled.

In response to these allegations, Bilawal has directed the senior lawyers to prepare a legal notice against the Interior Minister.

The party sources asserted that Chaudhry Nisar must apologise over ‘baseless’ allegations or face legal action.

Ayyan Ali became the topic of seemingly endless gossip and news reports after being caught in March last year with over half a million in cash trying to fly to Dubai while Pakistani law bars any passenger from carrying over $10,000.

Since her arrest, rumors abound tying the model to powerful Pakistani businessmen and politicians, offered a new look into money laundering in the country where corruption remains rampant.
