Case has been lodged against FIA personnel for negligence

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Investigation Agency has nabbed a United States national at Benazir International Airport for entering Pakistan after he was deported five years ago for suspicious activities, reported Saturday.



Mathew, US citizen landed at Benazir International Airport after entering wrong credentials on landing card and was shifted to immigration cell by the agency.

The agency lodged a case against FIA personnel named Raja Asif and Ahtashamul Haq and a woman official of Pakistan Commission Houston who is responsible for issuance of visas.

He was deported in 2011 for involvement in suspicious activities and was added in the black list. Raja Asif and his son, also an FIA official, Ahtasham gave the deportee clearance on the airport out of negligence.

Ahtasham was arrested following registration of the case while police are conducting raids to cop his father.
