First Hajj flight leaves for Saudi Arabia with 328 pilgrims

The green flag carrier will transport more than one lakh intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): The first official Hajj flight of Pakistan International Airline has left for Saudi Arabia from the federal capital with in the wee hours of Thursday, Dunya News reported.

Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight PK-2503 has left for Saudi Arabia from Benazir International Airport with 328 intending pilgrims on board.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf saw off these intending pilgrims from Benazir International Airport. More than one lakh intending pilgrims will go to Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year.

Hajj flights from Karachi and Lahore carrying 320 and 220 intending pilgrims respectively also left for Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.
