Stop India from curbing the basic rights of Kashmiris, says PPP Chairman

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday wrote a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Organisation (UNO) Ban Ki-moon stating that the UN must take notice of the atrocities being committed in Kashmir by the Indian forces, reported Dunya News.

PPP Chairman stated that the Indian forces killed 40 unarmed Kashmiris within the span of a few days whereas thousands were injured. Bilawal stated that the only fault of the people of Kashmir was the demand of the right of self-determination which was assured by UN six decades ago.

Bilawal demanded Ban Ki-moon to take immediate notice of the situation in Kashmir and to stop India from curbing the basic rights of the people of Kashmir as the UN was not only responsible for protecting the rights of the people around the world but was also responsible for creating peace and solving conflicts in all around the world, including South Asia.
