Peace established in Karachi as a result of operation in the city, says Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif stated on Tuesday that success achieved in Operation Zarb-e-Azb was satisfactory, adding that peace was established in Karachi as a result of the operation that was initiated in the city after consultation from all stakeholders, reported Dunya News.

PM Nawaz met with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak Al-Nahayan at Jati Umra.

UAE minister reached Jati Umra via helicopter and was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif. Sheikh Nahayan stated that Pakistan was gradually becoming an attractive investment hub for foreign investors. He congratulated PM Nawaz on his successful open-heart surgery.

PM Nawaz informed Sheikh Nahayan that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) project shall bring change in the lives of millions of people living in the region. He further stated that Operation Zarb-e-Azb was initiated in order to wipe out the menace of terrorism, adding that success achieved in the operation was satisfactory.

Prime Minister further stated that peace was achieved in Karachi after operation in the city was kicked off with the consultation of all stakeholders.

Sheikh Nahyan left for the UAE after the meeting concluded and was sent off by Punjab CM.
