Muzaffargarh: Poisonous sweets land 14 people in hospital
At least 14 people were hospitalized after consuming poisonous sweets in village Mirwal near Jatoi.
MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – According to details, condition of at least 14 persons of the same family, including 12 children, was deteriorated after eating poisonous sweets in village Mirwal near Jatoi on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The affected persons were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Jatoi from where 10 seriously ill patients were shifted to Nishtar Hospital, Multan. Two shopkeepers were arrested on the instruction of Assistant Commissioner Jatoi and a case has also been registered against them.
