Change in KP will be evident in 2 years: Imran Khan
Unable to bring intended change in KP, said PTI Chairman
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday stated that the status quo in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was hindering change in the province, adding that no department in KP faced the issue of corruption, reported Dunya News.
While addressing a press conference in the Chief Minister’s (CM) House, Khan said that those who pointed out towards the provincial ministers or departments do not have good intentions themselves.
Khan stated that “if the expenses of Punjab s Chief Minister and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister were compared, it would be clear that which of the two was actually serving the people”.
PTI Chairman said that funds were allocated to Akora Khattak madrasa as the provincial government was making efforts to bring reforms in the seminaries.
He stated that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif should have underwent medical treatment in one of the hospitals of the country instead of going abroad, adding that the hospitals in Pakistan were equally as good as those in other countries.
Khan said that the province did not underwent the kind of change the party intended to bring, further stating that change would be evident in KP within next two years.
KP CM Pervaiz Khattak and other provincial ministers were present with Khan during the press conference.
