Nisar approves NIC certification process

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar on Thursday convened an important meeting and approved the certification process of National Identity Cards (NICs), Dunya News has learnt
The meeting was attended by Secretary Interior Ministry, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman and National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) officials.
Nisar directed NADRA officials to settle the issues of blocked ID Cards in the given time period. In the meeting, he was briefed about a helpline which had been set up by NADRA for the general public in order to provide information regarding fake and suspicious ID cards.
