Lady Health Workers in Multan protest against anti-polio drive during Ramazan

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Lady Health Workers (LHW) on Wednesday protested against anti-polio campaign in Multan during the month of Ramazan.
A large number of LHWs participated in the protest that took place at Kachehri Chowk.
The protesters while holding placards and banners on which slogans were written against the anti-polio drive due to be held from June 27.
They were of the view that the campaign should be initiated after Eid however; if the drive began in the last 10 days of Ramazan then all the LHWs will boycott it.
The protesters blocked the road for traffic and raised intense slogans against the Health Department.
As per schedule, the five-day campaign will kick off from June 27.
