Terrorists intending to pressurise judiciary by carrying out such acts, says Maula Bux Chandio

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday met with Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Sajjad Ali Shah along with Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial and police officials in the high court building. CM assured the Chief Justice that all possible measures shall be taken in order to recover his abducted son, reported Dunya News.

Pakistan People s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari also expressed his concerns over the abduction of Owais Ali Shah and directed Sindh CM to form a joint investigation team which includes members of all intelligence agencies in order to retrieve Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son and also directed the authorities to utilise all resources in this regards.

Afterwards, an important meeting based on the situation of law and order was presided by Sindh CM and was attended by senior ministers, Rangers and police officials. Qaim Ali Shah was briefed over the abduction of SHC CJ’s son.

While conversing with the media after the meeting concluded, Advisor to CM on Information Maula Bux Chandio stated that the terrorists intend to pressurise judiciary by carrying out such acts. He said that Sindh CM ordered to hasten the Karachi operation during the meeting. He added that Rangers and police officials have been directed to place blockades at the entrance and exit points of the city.

Chandio said that it was also decided in the meeting that action shall be taken against individuals carrying weapons and vehicles without number plates.
