Purpose of London visit to do consultation over appointment of ECP members, says Rashid
LONDON (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as a U-turn master , adding that the country’s political system faces no dangers because of sit-ins, reported Dunya News.
Rashid arrived in London on the orders of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif. While conversing with the media at the Heathrow Airport, he held Imran Khan responsible for consensus not being developed over the Terms of References (TORs) dealing with the investigation of the Panama Leaks issue.
He enquired whether former Chief Justice (CJ) Iftikhar Chaudhary will probe into the Panama Leaks issue as he investigated the case against his own son. “Fingers shall be raised on him (Iftikhar Chaudhary) as well,” he said.
Information minister said that the purpose of his visit to London was to do consultation over the appointment of the members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
