PTI meeting to discuss organisational, political decisions called on Wednesday

Important decisions regarding the party's organisational setup will be discussed in the meeting

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has called a high-level meeting of the party on Wednesday in order to discuss various organisational and political decisions, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.

The meeting will be held in Islamabad at 3pm. Recommendations regarding the regional setup of the party along with appointment of a provincial president have been placed forward keeping in consideration PTI’s transitional setup. Party leaders have advised Khan that Punjab shall become the center of demonstrations thus a thorough organisational structure would be required.

PTI leader Aleem Khan has become quite active to attain the role of provincial president but other factions within the party have expressed their concerns over the matter.

Certain party leaders have recommended Aleem Khan to be nominated as the party’s organiser and Rai Azizullah to be named as the deputy organiser.

The previous meeting of the party called by Imran Khan proved to be fruitless whereas the 10-member committee was also unable to provide the Chairman with joint recommendations.
