Meeting called to discuss SC observation on PEMRA
PEMRA rules and regulations would be reviewed to make effective laws: Pervaiz Rashid
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Tuesday stated that key officials of information and law ministries would attend an important meeting to be held on Wednesday regarding Supreme Court s observation on Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), reported Dunya News.
In the light of Chief Justice (CJ) Anwar Zaheer Jamali s remarks, PEMRA rules and regulations would be reviewed to make effective laws while new legislation has also been under consideration, added Pervaiz Rashid.
