Nation will grab the collars of those trying to hinder country's development, said CM Punjab.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that Terms of References (ToRs) prepared by opposition over Panama leaks only target one person and not corruption.

While addressing in Punjab Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif presented himself for accountability and announced to form judicial commission to probe Panama leaks despite of the fact, his name was not in the database.

CM Punjab said that the premier assured to hold consultation with opposition but the parties made TORs according to their own interests as there was no section against those who written-off their taxes.

He said that joint opposition is no more united.

Talking about Sharif family’s assets, provincial leader said that his father along with brothers moved Lahore from India in 1930s and established Ittefaq Foundry in 1938.

In 1972, my family was not included in the list of 22 richest families, Shehbaz Sharif added.

He said that nation only wants final decision regarding corruption, fake degrees, and illegal land mafia which are obstructing country’s prosperity.

He also demanded investigation against corrupt leaders and said that nation will grab the collars of those trying to hinder country’s development.

He said that several political leaders denounced China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project worth $46 dollars by terming it as ‘fake’ and ‘lie’.

However, more than $34 dollars is reserved for electricity projects only, he told.

CM Shehbaz assured the incumbent government takes nation’s relief seriously as maximum solar energy projects have been started in Bahawalpur under the umbrella of CPEC and hoped that load shedding will end by 2018.
