PTI chief says procession on April 24 will take place at F-9 park

LONDON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday stated that an investigation commission that is led by a retired judge to probe into the Panama Leaks is unacceptable, reported Dunya News.

While addressing the media at the Heathrow Airport, PTI chief said that the Panama Leaks have caused upheaval in the whole world and that high level accusations have been leveled against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and his family.

Khan will attend meetings with three forensic companies in London during his stay. He added that an independent commission must probe into the Leaks and that his party will also facilitate the commission regarding the investigation.

PTI chief said that either a commission under the Chief Justice be formed or the party will organise a sit-in as it will be their last option.

Imran Khan said that the party’s procession will take place at Islamabad’s F-9 park on April 24 and that he had discussion in this regards with Federal Minister of the Interior Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan while both of them were aboard the same plane that took them to London.
