The PTI protesters demanded that PM Nawaz hands in his resignation over the Panama Leaks issue.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) workers Sunday protested against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif outside the residence of his son, Hussain Nawaz, in London. The protesters demanded that PM Nawaz hands in his resignation over the Panama Leaks issue. The protesters also demanded that the British government should investigate the money-laundering case.

The one and a half hour demonstration included almost a 100 protesters including women and children.

The demonstrators held posters and banners calling for PM Nawaz to resign from his post.

The protest comes in light of the hotly debated Panama Leaks issue in which the PM’s 2 sons, Hassan and Hussain along with daughter and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz have been caught up.

The PTI protesters in London echoed the call of their chairman Imran Khan who earlier addressed the nation from Bani Gala and demanded that PM Nawaz should resign as a result of the allegations placed upon in the Panama Leaks.

Khan said that PM Nawaz’s son Hassan Nawaz owns a house worth Rs 8 billion in the United Kingdom (UK), adding that the children of the Prime Minister are running their companies in Panama only because their father’s post as Nawaz Sharif gives the money earned through corruption to his children who make companies because of it.

Khan has demanded that a commission led by Chief Justice (CJ) be formed to probe in the Panama Leaks, adding that experts who are best in dealing with white-collar crimes should be included in the team who investigate the PM’s corruption with the help of an international audit firm.
