Campaigns for NA-245, PS-115 by-elections at peak

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Election campaigns regarding NA-245 and PS-115 by-elections are at their peak as election camps have been set-up in the constituency by various political parties, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and others, reported Dunya News.

A procession was staged by All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) candidate Syed Naveed Aziz at Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi today.



NA-245 constituency, comprising of a few areas of North Nazimabad and Nazimabad, is being contested by 16 contestants including MQM’s Muhammad Kamal Malik, PTI’s Amjadullah Khan, APML’s Syed Naveed Aziz, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Shahid Hussain, Pasban’s Abdul Hakim and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s (JUI) Abdul Rasheed.



Meanwhile PS-115, based on few areas of PCHS and Lines area, is being contested by 14 candidates including MQM’s Faisal Rafiq, PTI’s Amjad Asif, PPP’s Saeed Chawla and JUI’s Ehsanullah Hazarvi.

The election campaigns will conclude by midnight 5th of April. Polling will begin at 8:00 am and will conclude by 5:00 pm without any break on 7th of April.
