Karachi: Four terrorists shot dead during police action
Ammunition and explosives material were recovered from the exterminated suspects.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Four terrorists belonging to a banned outfit were shot dead late Saturday night during police action in Bhains Colony area of Karachi. Ammunition and explosives material were recovered from the exterminated suspects.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar, police raided terrorist hideout on the identification of suspects arrested earlier. Terrorists hiding in the area opened fire on the police during the raid. 4 terrorists were gunned down during the retaliatory fire.
SSP Anwar further stated that police are on the hunt for accomplices of the terrorists.
On the other hand, police also conducted action in Mehmoodabad area and apprehended a target killer, Akram-ud-Din alias ‘Murghi’, of a political party.
Police say the arrested killer used to work for political party’s Raees Mama group. Police added that the suspect is involved in numerous cases of target killings in Korangi, Landhi and surrounding areas.
