Intermittent rain continues to pour in most parts of country

People living near the river banks and seasonal nullahs have been advised to be careful.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Different parts of the country, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, are receiving intermittent rains.

The rain continue to pour in Sialkot, Peshawar, Wazirabad, Kashmir and Mardan whereas in next 24 hours the weather of Karachi is likely to remain partly cloudy with a maximum temperature of 32 degree centigrade.

The Met department has forecasted possibility of heavy rain in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat division, FTA, Kashmir, Gujranwala and Lahore whereas some places are expected to receive hailstorm.

According to Met Office, the highest rainfall of 135 mm has been recorded in Malam Jabba followed by 69 mm in Murree.

It has also stated that the present rain spell will persist till Monday morning while another spell is expected to start from Wednesday.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority has issued alert about flash floods due to continuous rains in different areas of the province.

People living near the river banks and seasonal nullahs have been advised to be careful.
