Firing between two groups in Peshawar leaves 6 dead

Dispute occurred over the ownership of a plot on Dalazak road

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Exchange of fire on Wednesday between two rival groups over the ownership of a plot on Dalazak road left six people dead, reported Dunya News.

After the exchange of some offensive words, the rival group members started firing at each other. Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) superintendent Riaz Khan and his son Amir Shahzad Khan died as a result of the firing whereas Riaz’s other son Sheraz got injured because of the incident.

Sifat Ullah, Asif and Noor Mohammad who were members of the other group also lost their lives and another person got injured.

Police took 2 pistols and a gun into their custody from the crime scene.
