Summary to decrease oil prices by 8.48 rupees per litre sent to Ministry of Petroleum

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources to lessen petroleum price by Rs. 8.48 per litre for the month of March, reported Dunya news.

The summary also included a request to decrease diesel price by Rs. 4.67 per litre. The prices of high-octane and light-diesel are proposed to be reduced by Rs. 2.98 and Rs. 1.97 respectively whereas kerosene oil price is to go down by Rs. 1.66.

Ministry of Finance will make the final verdict regarding the reduction in oil prices and the implementation of the new prices will be in effect from March 1 onwards.
