US Special Representative Richard Olson meets COAS, discusses key issues
Matters of regional security and situation in Afghanistan were discussed between the two officials.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Olson on Saturday met with Chief of Atmy Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shareef. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), key issues were discussed during the meeting held in General Head Quarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi.
According to the details, matters pertaining to regional security and the situation in Afghanistan were discussed between the two officials.
According to ISPR, Olson lauded Pak Army’s efforts in the war against terrorism. Olson also acknowledged the sacrifices of the Pakistani nation and Pak Army in the eradication of terrorism.
