CPEC will immensely benefit GB, Orange Line train is Punjab governments project: President

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Mamnoon Hussain said on Thursday that Pakistan government is working to determine administrative status of Gilgit-Baltistan without changing its principled stand on Kashmir issue. He was talking to a delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) in Islamabad, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, President said that the government is looking into legal aspects to resolve issues faced by people of GB. He also said that the process will not only help define the identity of GB but also further strengthen its integral linkage with Pakistan.

Mamnoon Hussain said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will immensely benefit the people of GB; and therefore, they should also extend a helping hand to the government in its successful implementation.

“Some factions are spreading false rumours that Orange Line project is part of CPEC while that is Punjab government’s project”, said the President.
