Shahbaz inaugurates interest-free CM self-employment scheme

More than eight lac people have been benefited by the scheme so far.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday has inaugurated interest-free CM self-employment scheme.

While talking at the ceremony in Lahore, CM Punjab said that as many as 25,000 families would be given interest-free loans for which one billion rupees have been allocated.



More than eight lac people have been benefited by the scheme so far. The ceremony concluded on taking the project at major level. 



According to CM, 10,000 Lahoris would get interest-free loans now that will help in eliminating unemployment and promoting businesses.

Shahbaz Sharif also lauded the people who return loans after taking while he has also lashed out at those who don’t return the allotted loans.



Earlier, Sharif distributed ‘Apna Rozgar Sceme’ (Self-employment scheme) cars in Model Town, Lahore. Inaugurating the scheme, CM Shahbaz distributed the keys of the cars among the lucky-draw winners.

Speaking on this occasion, CM Punjab said that three hundred thousand people will benefit from the ‘Apna rozgar Scheme’. He also announced that ‘Patwari culture’ will be buried forever by the end of June in 36 districts of Punjab.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the government was trying to rid Pakistan of unemployment as soon as possible. He said that 50,000 cars will be distributed among people while the service charges will be borne by the government.
