Karachi: All paths to Sea View blocked as New Year eve approaches
Police has deployed more than 3400 personnel on the beaches
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police has barricaded all paths leading to Sea View, Karachi as New Year ’s Eve approaches. Citizens have criticized the step and termed it as ‘contrary to justice’, reports Dunya News.
Police has closed all routes leading to the coast with containers. Police officials have stated that no one will be allowed to undermine peace of the city adding that violators will be dealt with strictly. Citizens have protested the security measures and have said it to be a violation of their rights.
Police, on the other hand, has deployed more than 3400 personnel on the beaches and has been instructed to fine one-wheelers and motorcycles without silencers.
