PM stops CM Balochistan from leaving post for five days

The party failed to recover missing persons, accepts Bizenjo

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Saturday has stopped Dr Abdul Malik Baloch from leaving Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) post for five days.

In a joint press conference with National Party chief Hasil Bizenjo, Dr Baloch announced stepping down from the Chief Minister seat as per the Murree agreement.

While Bizenjo said that the Prime Minister is not allowing the incumbent Chief Minister to leave the post until he returns from Turkmenistan visit. Senator Bizenjo said that he would not play blame game while leaving.

Dr Baloch said that he had the support of the federal government and Pakistan Army to continue talks disenchanted Baloch people. Senator Bizenjo said that political parties gave us the ministry for two and a half years despite their majority.

He accepts that the party failed to recover missing persons, said Bizenjo. He further said that the budget Balochistan is being given in the current scenario could not bring prosperity.

Earlier, provincial President of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) was nominated by PM Nawaz Sharif after consultation with allies and in the light of the Murree declaration among ruling coalition in Balochistan. Current CM of Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch, Mehmood Achakzai and many other high level officials participated in the meeting.

The deal was signed by the three provincial coalition partners including PML-N, National Party (NP) and Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP)
