Interior Minister says foreigners were recruited in NADRA on recommendations by MNAs, Senators
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Thursday revealed that foreign nationals were employed in National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) on the recommendations of MNAs and Senators during the previous tenure, reported Dunya News.
Making shocking revelations in National Assembly (NA) session, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told that foreign nationals were employed in NADRA during the previous tenure. He said that the names of the MNAs and Senators who interceded on behalf of the foreign nationals.
Chaudhry Nisar said that he has ended the VIP culture from passport application process. Even the families of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain had to visit the Passport office to apply for their passports. “Bilawal Bhutto and his sisters requested sending biometric machines to their home, we refused”, he said.
Nisar also revealed that 5 foreign nationals got Pakistani Identity cards illegally during the previous tenure.
