Suleman Lashari murder case: ATC issues show cause notice to jailer

Court has adjourned the hearing till December 4 by ordering complete investigation into the matter.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi has issued show cause notice to the jail superintendent for not presenting the four suspects in Suleman Lashari murder case today (Monday).

The hearing of the case was held in Karachi during which, the jail authorities failed to take suspects to the court, raging the judge who issued a show cause notice to the superintendent.

The accused included Salman Abro, Rashid, Yaseen Maqbool and Imran who were identified by Suleman’s mother and brother.

Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing till December 4.

Earlier, the medical board presented its report declaring the accused under age as it ranges from 17 to 18.

It is pertinent to mention here that the son of a police officer broke into a house along with police personnel in Defence, killing Suleman Lashari, while an attacker policeman was also killed in retaliation.

Salman Abro was later arrested in injured condition from Ziauddin hospital in Clifton area while four policemen were also rounded up.
