PM Nawaz arrives in Karachi for one-day visit
The Prime Minister will attend Pakistan Navys Sea Spark 2015 military exercises.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Wednesday for a one-day visit to attend Pakistan Navy’s Sea Spark 2015 military exercises.
PM Nawaz will observe Pak Navy’s deep sea military exercises along with joint operational capabilities with other military departments.
Army, Navy and Air Force soldiers are participating in the military exercise.
The premier will also meet Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad and Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah during which views will be exchanged on law and order situation in the metropolis.
The PM is also expected to attend an event of the minority community during his visit to the city.
Pakistan Navy’ss biennial military exercise Sea Spark 2015 is underway in the Arabian Sea.
Earlier on Tuesday, Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Zaka Ullah and Air Chief Sohail Aman witnessed the exercise.
Both the Chiefs expressed satisfaction over the professionalism and synergy between Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force.
The Naval Chief said the exercise has given exposure to the Air and Naval crews in near realistic environment.
