Two Afghan nationals among 18 suspects detained in Islamabad
The security forces have come in action ahead of Muharram in light of possible attacks
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Two Afghanistan national among 18 suspected criminals on Sunday have been arrested by police, Rangers and intelligence agencies in joint operations in different areas.
Security forces conducted an operation in early hours of the day in Sector I-12. Not less than 800 houses were inspected by the personnel.
At least two illegal immigrants belonging to Afghanistan were taken into custody. The personnel seized six pistols and more than 600 bullets from the criminals’ possession.
Moreover, 16 other suspects were apprehended in the operations. The security forces have come in action ahead of Muharram in light of possible attacks.
