BDS foils terror bid in Islamabad, defuses suicide jacket
Intelligence agencies have initiated probe of the incident.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) in Islamabad foiled a terror bid in the capital today (Sunday) by defusing a suicide jacket, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a citizen informed Tarnol police of a suicide jacket that was placed in a nullah near Sarai Kharbooza.
Police and BDS officials reached the scene immediately and recovered the jacket.
BDS authorities said that the wires of the jacket were chopped off and was in a usable condition.
Besides this, the suicide jacket also contained six kg explosive material.
