KARACHI (Dunya News) – Lawyers on Saturday are striking against killing of their colleague while City Court’s Station House Officer (SHO) has locked the gates creating problems for the people.

The lawyers in City Court, Malir Court and subordinate courts have boycotted legal proceedings today. The lawyers said that the SHO has locked the gates and the people cannot approach the court.

They alleged the SHO of allowing vehicles of few friends to enter the premises and cafeteria employees.

Developments in hundreds of cases have been postponed due to the act. No prisoner has been brought to the court from jails for hearings.

Former joint secretary Karachi Bar Association Ameer Haider Shah was gunned down on Friday night near Hassan Square.
