Urdu University VC to be dismissed as corruption cases proven
Corruption cases worth billions of rupees proven against Urdu University VC Zafar Iqbal
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Urdu University Vice Chancellor Dr. Zafar Iqbal is going to be removed from his post as corruption cases worth billions of rupees have been proven against him, reported Dunya News.
Federal Urdu University Senate meeting was held in Islamabad on Saturday in VC Zafar Iqbal’s corruption issue was also discussed. The meeting was told that the corruption allegations against Dr. Zafar Iqbal were investigated by former justice of Federal Shariat Court and the corruption allegations were proven true.
Senate has recommended Chancellor to remove the VC at the earliest and refer the case to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). University senate has also demanded immediate arrest of Dr. Zafar Iqbal.
