Facilitators of Safoora carnage will be detained soon: Corps commander Karachi
Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar met the victims of Safoora incident in Al-Azhar Garden.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Corps commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar reached Al-Azhar Garden today (Sunday) to meet the victims of Safoora carnage, Dunya News reported.
On this occasion, prayers were also held for those who fell prey to the brutal incident.
Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar said that the nation and the armed forces stand with the victims’ relatives in this hour of great grief and sadness.
He assured that all the main terrorists involved in the carnage have been detained whereas progress has also been made in the investigation.
He stated that there is a need to further strengthen the achievements against terrorism.
Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar vowed to bring all the facilitators and assistants of Safoora carnage to justice.
Corps commander Karachi also met journalists and media representatives and exchanged eid greetings.
Before this, he also visited central jail Karachi and reviewed the security arrangements.
