Army Chief offers Eid prayer with troops in Waziristan

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) - Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif offered Eid prayers on the front lines with troops in Waziristan today (Saturday).
Later, the Army Chief extended Eid greetings to soldiers and senior army officers in Wana.
On the occasion, the Army Chief expressed satisfaction over the operation and said our sacrifices will not go in vain.
He said the nation s trust and support to the armed forces is our biggest asset and the armed forces will not disappoint the nation.
Meanwhile, DG ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa posted a message on Twitter, stating that Pakisatan is bound to rise as terrorism is being defeated and there are visible signs of improvement in security situation.
He reaffirmed the commitment that the operation against terrorists will continue till completion of mission.
